This information was supplied to me from LeCroy and in-part from the manuals. The 7200/A mainframe can hold up to two of the above plug-ins.

Normally I am seeing the 7242/A/B modules for sale. The main difference in the various versions is the amount of memory available. The base and rev. A modules will run in the 7200 mainframes, but not in the 7200A unless modifications are made to them. This change has been included in this document.

The 7242s have a 5mV/div to 1V/div input sensitivity. The maximum input voltage is +/-5V DC into a 50W input, or 5Vrms.

Because the Model 7200A-P12 passive probes are no longer available, LeCroy recommends using the PP002. This is a 350MHz 10M probe. I think the cost is about $80 each. I tried a couple of these and find that I am not quite able to compensate the probe.

Thank you LeCroy for supplying the manuals in PDF format for the 7200!!
